My time at Aalborg University gave me valuable skills, such as programming in various languages, experience with user experience evaluation and design, as well as working in teams. These skills were honed each semester by carrying out a semester project resulting in the development of a technological artefact in groups.

Influence of Texture Fidelity on Spatial Perception in Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality Development

An appartment was implemented in Virtual Reality, with a focus on realistic graphics. It was then evaluated whether users experienced differences in distance perception based on a condition with high fidelity textures, as opposed to all models having the same textures.

Turn-Taking in Virtual Reality Meetings

Development and User Evaluation

This project revolved around developing a software for hosting and attending meetings in a virtual environment utilizing Virtual Reality as a medium.

RoboFriend

Development and User Evaluation

RoboFriend was a social robot implementing simple facial expression recognition to react to a users expressions of happiness, anger and sadness.

Sound Computing - Augmented Controller

Development and User Evaluation

An attachment for a PS4 controller was developed, which allowed for buttons to be pressed via voice commands. The goal was to allow paraplegic gamers to play games using said controllers.

Game Projects

I have taken active part in the design and development of multiple small games, both as a result of attending Game Jams, but also as a part of a Game Design and Development course on my Bachelors degree in Medialogy.

Developer

Panic at the Billabong is a short Third-Person adventure/platformer game. You find yourself in the peaceful Billabong, where your best friend Big T has disappeared - it is now up to you to explore the area and solve the mystery!

The game was developed over the course of three to four months by a group of 5 people.

Developer

"Extreme Pod Racers" is a local multiplayer racing game, where up to four players control a Pod Racers in a side scrolling race of skill and destruction.

The game was created over the course of a weekend by a team of 4 at a game jam.
